The best Weekend Tip for boosting creativity

Today's tip isn't a book, a podcast, a movie, or a series. It's all of them and none of them at the same time.

Remember how I once asked you to quit? Well, this weekend, I have a unique task for you.

My Weekend Tip isn't a book, a podcast, a movie, or a series. It's all of them and none of them at the same time.

Hang on, what?!

Yes, you heard it right! Creativity often sparks when we engage with something unusual, something out of our ordinary routine.

But don't worry, this isn't some "step out of your comfort zone" motivational mumbo-jumbo.

So what I want you to do?

If you haven't read a fiction book since high school, pick up a random classic or contemporary novel. Yep, something that isn't a textbook or a how-to guide.

Do you love business podcasts? Shake things up. Find an entirely random topic you have no idea about and hit play on the first episode that pops up.

Never watched a YouTuber play a video game, or unbox a mystery box, or review the latest marshmallow-flavored toothpaste? Go ahead, watch it.

Click play on that odd sci-fi film that you never considered watching. Or a documentary about the art of origami, the life cycle of a rare insect, or the history of a remote island nation.

And so on…

The trick here is to dive headfirst into something brand new. It's like discovering that your garden hides a portal to another universe (and no, you don’t have to take drugs). But hey, there's a universe of ideas out there, and you never know where you'll catch the wave of inspiration.

Take this weekend to swim in new waters. Who knows, you might emerge on Monday with a refreshed mind and a killer idea.

Carpe diem,

Tino
