You're standing on the goldmine
đź’°What if you've got money right under your feet?
Have you ever felt the rush of chasing something new?
New customers…
New followers…
New subscribers...
Growth, growth, growth…
It's like a high-speed chase, each new addition fueling your adrenaline. We've all been there, right? Focused so much on expanding our audience.
But here's the lesson I learned the hard way: The real treasure isn't out in the wild. It's right under your feet.
I recently wrapped up four 1-on-1 Extra Mile sessions (yeah, renting my brain). And without even diving deep into the specifics, one thing was crystal clear: the most impactful advice I could offer was to shift focus to existing customers.
A few years back, I was part of an E-commerce mastermind led by Austin Brawner (whose podcast I’ve been a big fan of). That experience was like suddenly seeing in color after a lifetime in monochrome. It was all about nurturing the garden you already have, not just planting new seeds.
So, how do you squeeze more juice out of the orange you already hold in your hand?
Think about it. How can you increase the average order value?
Is there a way to bundle products or offer a premium version?
What if you could turn a one-time buyer into a repeat customer? Or even a subscriber?
And it's not just about selling more. It's about creating a connection.
How often do you engage with those who have already bought into your brand?
Do they feel like a part of your journey, or just another transaction?
How can you make those who have already chosen you feel special? Maybe it's through exclusive content, insider access, or special discounts. It's about making them feel like VIPs in your world.
It's not just about bombarding them with offers. It's about understanding their needs, their desires, and how your brand fits into their daily lives.
And this is pretty much a neverending journey: you can never be finished. I know it very well and trying to crack the code myself.
It's time to shift the lens. Instead of constantly looking outwards for new customers, turn inwards.
Look at the community you've already built. They are your biggest advocates, your most loyal fans.
The gold isn't in the wild; it's on your table, waiting for you to recognize its value.
Nurture it, grow it, and watch as it turns into a treasure.
Carpe Diem,
Tino
