The 24-Hour Secret No One Tells You

Ever feel like some people have more than 24 hours in a day?

I’ve been watching Gen Z. The young guns. The TikTokers.

The marketers are obsessed with catching their attention. And so am I.

Not because I want to sell them something, but because I want to understand them.

Here’s what I’ve learned: they use the internet like it’s on fast-forward.

We used to have the “3-second rule” for content. With them, it’s half a second.

No joke. Watch an 18-year-old scroll TikTok, and you’ll feel like you’ve aged 10 years in comparison.

But here’s the thing: they’ve never lived in a less-connected world. We have. And even with that, we’re still drowning in the endless scroll.

Instagram, TikTok, YouTube. It’s like an anxiety machine.

I’m guilty of it too.

I look at Instagram, and there’s always someone more… something.

Richer.

Prettier.

Smarter.

More advanced in business.

More… whatever. It gets to you, doesn’t it?

People sometimes tell me, “I feel like your day is longer than 24 hours with all the stuff you do.”

Want to know the truth?

I feel the same way about some of my idols. I see what they’re doing and think, “How the hell do they manage that?”

And here’s the secret: they don’t have longer days. Their day is the same as yours.

24 hours. No magic. No cheats.

The difference? They’re making shit happen. While you’re scrolling Instagram.

That’s the hard truth. Your idol? The one crushing it on your feed? They’re not scrolling. They’re creating. Building. Doing.

So the next time you catch yourself deep in the endless scroll, remember this: you can either watch them make shit happen, or you can be the one making it happen.

Carpe Diem,

Tino

P.S. This newsletter took me 15 minutes to write. What could you do in 15 minutes if you stopped scrolling?
